CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER – FULL TIME

We are a family run company based in the East Midlands, committed to ensuring the highest possible standard of electrical work throughout the United Kingdom with our centrally located offices (based in Leicestershire) giving us maximum coverage of all counties.
We have a very happy and broad client base from industrial factories, commercial premises, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Fast Moving Consumer Goods to quarrying, gas and mining industries.
Due to expansion we are looking for a Control Systems Engineer based at our Head Office in Leicestershire. You will be working full-time, based at our Main Offices in Leicestershire.
Duties:
- Design and commissioning of projects from concept to the end of project life cycle
- Production of key documentation (FDS, Manuals)
- Designing and coding of PLC, SCADA and HMI system software
- Electrical Designs using CAD packages
- Carry out factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing & on-site commissioning
Ideally experience with:
- PLC, SCADA and HMI experience (Mitsubishi GX Developer, GXworks2, GXworks3, Siemens Simatic manager, TIA Portal, WinCC ,)
- VSD (Variable Speed Drives), Mitsubishi, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB
- AutoCad or Eplan
Required:
- Full clean driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
Advantageous:
- A relevant qualification (HNC/HND) in Electrical / Automation / Controls Engineering or similar
- Gas & Oil Industry experience advantageous but not essential
- CompEx / ATEX knowledge / exposure advantageous but not essential
